Our Story
Our story begins with Beau Curtis, the CEO of ATX Event Systems and Founder of the Vendetta Foundation. Now a successful businessman and rare creative mind, Beau was once a 17 year-old struggling to cope with the loss of his father to a rare genetic prion disorder. Whilst standing atop of a mountain looking to the heavens for answers, Beau was hit with the realization that he had been tasked to make a difference and thus, the Vendetta concept was born. A concept of love, togetherness, and a righteously good time.
Through Vendetta Foundation events, we aim to create a community of like-minded individuals who’s ideals align with our core competency of hosting “parties with a purpose”. Each Vendetta Foundation event features live music, which acts as a vehicle for our mission to raise funds and increase community awareness in order to advance the search for a cure for prion disorders of all kinds. All funds donated to the Vendetta Foundation are given directly to organizations working to develop treatments and resources for those suffering from prion disorders. The Vendetta Foundation is in partnership with the Broad Institute of Harvard & MIT, working with research scientists such as Eric Minikel and Sonia Vallabh in order to help fund scientific research and clinical trials that will one day lead to breakthroughs in prion disorder treatment.
